Students are to select two works of art of similar subject matter. (This might be two portraits, two landscapes, two battle scenes, etc.) One work should be considered ABSTRACT the other should be considered REALISTIC/NATURALISTIC, or what Fry would call "an imitation of reality." Please use googleartproject.com as a source for your images. While you cannot copy images directly from googleartproject.com, you can either screen shot the image, or you can see if the image is available on the museum's website from which the work is from. PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY EXAMPLES FROM THE TEXTBOOK OR FROM LECTURES. (You may use the same artists, but not the same works of art.)
